About Us

Cub Scout Pack 472 is a dynamic community of young scouts in Rockville, MD, committed to fostering personal growth, leadership skills, and teamwork among its members. Our pack provides a fun and supportive environment for boys and girls ages 5 to 10 where they can learn and explore through exciting activities and adventures.

We strongly believe in the values of the Cub Scouts program, including duty to God and country, respect for others, and doing one's best. With a dedicated team of leaders and enthusiastic parental involvement, our pack aims to instill valuable life skills and create lasting memories for our scouts.

Thurs. 3/12: 6:15 pm: Den Meetings. Activity: Theme: A Scout is Respectful (Basic Manners)

Sat. 3/21: 10:00 am: Pack Event. Activity: Underground Railroad Experience Trail
Location: Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park (16501 Norwood Road, Sandy Spring, MD 20860)
The natural surface trail is approximately 2 miles long (4 miles round-trip) through fields and woods. Wear your Class B (yellow t-shirt) uniform. Bring your Six Essentials.
Thurs. 4/9: 6:15 pm: Den Meetings. Activity: Theme: Den Leader's Choice
Location: Rockville Civic Center Park Playground (852 Avery Rd, Rockville, MD 20851; park in the lot behind the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater)
St. Mary's School is weather backup.
Sun. 4/26: 1:30-3:30 pm: Pack Service Project. Activity: Croydon Nature Center Environmental Service Project - Garlic Mustard Pull
Location: Croydon Nature Center (852 Avery Rd, Rockville, MD 20851)
This is a public event to teach participants about this common invasive plant and how to remove it. This is staffed by City of Rockville employees. The City will provide gloves and bags for removal and help everyone identify the proper plant to remove.
